Full Support’s Director is Nic Bolto, a graduate of the Melbourne Business School, Winston Churchill Fellow and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nic brings expertise to the acquisition of strategic goals. He has worked in senior government, corporate and not for profit board and leadership roles and consults to a range of organisations on change, renewal, performance evaluation and market entry assignments.
He was until recently the Australian Government’s Entrepreneurship Facilitator for Melbourne, a role he conducted for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Past Assignments

Entrepreneurship Facilitator
Working with 220 startup clients over four years in a mentoring and coaching role, Nic partnered with equity and solution providers to achieve $23m in value growth for his clients and the Department of Treasury.

Australian Entrepreneurship Alliance
Nic set up the industry group Australian Entrepreneurship Alliance which provided advice to governments on funding and policy for the start up sector and kicked off Australia’s largest start up conference EntrepreneurFEST reaching 1,800 people.

Sanitarium
Working with consultants and Sanitarium leadership, oversee the acquisition of seven workplace health businesses to diversify the impact of this health and wellbeing company. Project outcomes included injury management, prevention and the promotion of better workplace health outcomes in a mix of industry sectors including an exclusive contract with Jetstar and Fonterra.

Disability Intermediaries Australia
Working on behalf of six major providers of NDIS supports, with funding from several key stakeholders, Nic created the Disability Intermediaries Australia (DIA) industry group to lobby for systemic change in the way the NDIS functioned. With a membership that soon grew to over 350 organisations, DIA was admitted to the NDIS Industry Group, a select group of 11 influential peak bodies that went on to shape policy.

WISE Employment

Avondale University
Working with the University’s Vice Chancellor and key advocates on the board, we prepared engagement strategies for overseas students, government, Alumni and key stakeholder groups. The Alliance’s fundraising strategies were reviewed with recommendations for targeting donors willing to migrate to more influential roles at the University so as to diversify the University’s revenue streams.

APM
Working closely with the Managing Director, Nic and his team led a competitive tender bid for the Vocational Rehabilitation Program in New Zealand and achieved a first in market, 33% business share through a supply chain of 47 service partners in 228 sites nationally.

Palladium
With Palladium’s international team, we brought local networks, market intelligence and connections to their Pacific Island pilot program with the Australian Government, winning a single tender award for the entire scope of work on a relocation assignment for Pacific Island communities impacted by climate change.

NSW Government
In an assignment for Minister Dominello, we conducted an assessment of the Department’s procurement arrangements with the not for profit sector, advising on key metrics to improve the impact of the sector and the Department’s engagement strategy.

The Difference
In a five year assignment, Full Support engaged government and philanthropic leaders including the Lord Mayor’s Fund, the Myer Foundation and Department of Communities in a project to identify organisation leaders in the human services field. Using social impact measures, we worked to match key social issues with donor targets in an annual report which attracted significant TV, radio and print media coverage, including an editorial in Melbourne The Age.
